After purchasing an old surfboard from a local surf shop, his life experienced a drastic paradigm shift into kitesurfing and surfing. Now years later, he has visited 45 countries in the pursuit of wind and waves.
As Nova Scotia’s first professional kitesurfer, Mark competed on the Kite Surf Pro (KSP) World Tour for two seasons. He has also appeared in every major kitesurfing magazine in the world on numerous occasions. Mark has been a certified kitesurfing / kiteboarding instructor with the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) for many years.
